Birthday '07
My husband's friend came over a couple of weeks ago, wanting to know what I had planned for February 26, which is his wife's birthday. Seems he wanted to send her to a spa for the day, and since my birthday is on the 28th, he thought Hubs might want to send me with her. Of course, Hubs agreed, because, when put on the spot what else could he do?
He took the day off to be with the kids today, while I spent the afternoon getting a hot stone massage, manicure, pedicure, and root touch-up.
I came home to an immaculate house and loads of kisses from my kids. And Hubs was amazingly calm, considering he played Me all day. He looked at me when I came throught the door and wanted to make sure I had a good time.
Gotta love that guy....
Now that I did this for our friend's birthday, should I ask him what he's doing for me on mine?
I'm kidding, people. Just kidding....

Kind of a similar situation: Jeff asked what I wanted for Val Day. I said "nothing". Well hell if you have to ask!! Minutes later my friend's hub called wanting to get Deb a Day at the spa and to see if Jeff wanted to get me a day too and wanting to know how to get this done as a suprise. Well the low down is I went, purchased both packages and hand delivered hers to her place of employment. Her hub got hubby of the year. Me ??? got more than what I asked for.

Whoops!! I was messing around with my template today, and ACCIDENTLY changed it to Save Me From the Little People. I was just screwing around while the kids were watching The Backyardigans....

That sounded like a wonderful day. I agree with Misfit Hausfrau, you deserve something like this on a regular basis!!
My birthday is coming up soon. You've given me an idea.
